Maxwell Lum
Maxwell is almost two year old mini schnauzer and like most dogs from
the terrier family, he can be somewhat stubborn. He exhibited all the
classis signs of an alpha dog mentality and dog and people aggression.
He is a little dog who thinks he is a rottweiller. It was very embarrassing
and nerve racking to have someone visit me for fear Maxwell may bite
them. In fact he grabbed my mother's pant leg when she came for a visit.
We had tried punishing him, squirting him with water, the tin can thing
but nothing was getting through to him. We love him dearly and didn't
want to have to do something drastic like put him down. We were at a
loss on how to manage his behaviour.
Lilli came and worked with us now two times and let me tell you the
difference is remarkable. We can walk him without worrying he is going
to pull your arm out of the socket or what dog you may run into while
walking will cause Maxwell to flip out. We still have a ways to go and
I think this will have to be a life long commitment but I believe that
GOOD HABITS INC is providing us with the tools to manage Maxwell in
a loving but firm way. Maxwell is part of our family not the leader
of our family and as we teach him this, the whole family will be much
happier and stress free!
Regards,
Julie Birchard-Lum
